Privacy Policy

The short version: SaferBite collects no personal data. Your scans stay on your device. We have no accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising trackers.

1. Who we are

SaferBite is published by AlphaBotPro ("we", "us"). Contact: support@alphabotpro.cloud.

2. Data we collect

None. SaferBite does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We do not require an account, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

3. Camera access

SaferBite requests camera access solely to read product barcodes. Barcode recognition happens entirely on your device using Apple's VisionKit. No images or video ever leave your phone.

4. Product lookups

When you scan a barcode, the app sends that barcode number to the Open Food Facts and Open Beauty Facts public databases to retrieve product information. This request contains only the barcode and standard technical information (such as your IP address, as with any internet request). It is not linked to your identity by us. 5. Scan history

Your scan history is stored locally on your device only. Deleting the app deletes your history. We cannot access it.

6. Purchases

Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple's handling of this data is described in Apple's privacy policy.

7. Children

SaferBite is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.

8. Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at the address above.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
